Spine Surgery

Dr. Wylie was raised in Tyler, Texas. He attended Texas Christian University here in Fort Worth and graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Neuroscience in 1994. He currently serves as a Team Physician and Spine Surgeon for TCU Athletics.

Dr. Wylie attended UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and did his orthopaedic surgery residency in Indiana where he received multiple research awards for work on anterior lumbar fusion using threaded cages, post-operative infection prevention as well as multiple other topics.

From there, Dr. Wylie returned to Texas for his Spine Fellowship where he gained vast experience in Artificial Disk Replacement (ADR). He also has special training and interest in Minimally Invasive Spinal Procedures, Percutaneous Pedicle Screw and Fusion technology, Non-operative therapy including spinal injections, and treatment of athletic spine injury.

Dr. Wylie joined Texas Health Care Bone and Joint Clinic in 2004, enjoys spending time with his family, running, and fly-fishing.

Dr. Wylie has presented multiple papers at major national and international spinal and sports medicine meetings, co-authored chapters and remains active in new technology and research.
