Stephanie did her undergraduate coursework at the University of Texas at Austin and graduated from UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas with a BS in Physical Therapy. She continued her education at Texas Christian University to pursue her Athletic Training Licensure and Certification. She has worked in outpatient orthopedics for the last 20 years. Her areas of focus with athletic training have been gymnastics, rugby and hockey, as well as assisting with dance-related injuries.

Within the last 7 years, Stephanie has specialized in Women's Health. She was awarded a Certificate in Women's Health from the Texas Women's University in May 2005.
